A Letter from the owner
We would like to thank all of our customers that support us every day.
My husband started his journey into the roadside assistance business in 1976 with one old tow truck and a few bucks for fuel. We met in 1986, and I immediately knew that he had a work ethic like no other as well as a passion for designing products that solved problems.
We then started Camille’s Towing Service and grew that one truck business into a multi-truck company that we later sold. After that, he spent the next 35 years as service director, body shop director and fixed operations director at Volkswagen and BMW new car dealerships.
In 2010, he had one of the very first BMW dealerships to have a multi-truck towing service and have been #1 in roadside assistance every year since.
In 2014, he designed and invented the very first self contained mobile service van for BMW, which included tire machine, wheel balancer, tool boxes and oil change equipment. BMW corporate visited him and immediately turned his concept into a nationwide mobile service program.
Recently, with AGA tools, he designed a way to change oil on site with no chance of any spillage. This newly designed concept is now used at many new car dealerships across the country.
His passion for mobile service and commercial van design led me to help him to follow this dream and in 2019 I had officially opened Custom Upfitters & Custom Mobile Vans. He designs everything that we build, while I lead our staff to execute every project.
